Moreau Lake State Park offers fabulous day hikes close by, with views of the Adirondacks. You can also go swimming a nice clean part of the Upper Hudson.

Moreau Lake State Park has a great trail system for hiking and a clean lake that is loaded with all types of fish. They have a beach area, as well as picnic areas and cabins to rent. It would be a great place to spend the day outdoors.
