The 72 mile trail of the Coeur d’Alenes runs along Railroad Avenue in both directions and is a paved multi-use trail, easy walking, roller blading, biking etc. Turning right, you can ride or walk to Wallace and it ends in Mullan, Idaho. Turning left will take you along the CDA river, the chain lakes, eventually along Lake CDA and through the Indian reservation.
