Slightly more secluded than Playa Paraiso with no restaurants or vendors it’s quieter here than the other beaches. If you want some peace and quiet and to escape the crowds this is the beach for you. There are facilities a short walk away on the other beaches, so if you do get hungry then you can always take a walk to the next Tulum beach along.
Paraiso and Las Palmas beach takes about 15 -35 mins by car from Alicat Villas (depending on traffic which can be terrible). Tulum beaches are some of the most beautiful in the world, with fine sand , turquoise water and please of beach to share. As long as you are lucky not to come when the sargassum seaweed arrives: If you haven't heard, sargassum seaweed, that is forming off the coast of Brazil and grows very quickly, is washing up by the truck loads along the Mexican Caribbean coastline and affecting some of the most ideal and pristine beaches in the world. The Mexican government is looking at solutions to this very serious problem regarding cleanup. As this is a natural problem, it is hard to give you information regarding the condition of the beaches during your stay.
