Duncan Ray is the only resident chef who will be serving you for your dinner and his approach is all about the attention to detail. Duncan prepares just a small amount of covers/ dinners on a given evening – perhaps only for 20 people. So this type of dining experience is all about the quality, it…

Creative fish/seafood dining in an unpretentious setting, with regional produce and local artworks. Will definitely need to book ahead of visit as small intimate setting. The Little Fish Market is proof positive that good things really do come in small packages. Hidden down a nondescript side…

“Next door to the Regency. Less impressive decor, but some say the food is a little better, jury is out in my opinion. Very friendly and attentive staff and some great deals.”

“Fatto a Mano translates as “made by hand” and this sums up what they are all about. Being handmade extends beyond the food and relates to their simple and honest approach, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Utilising local ingredients to create traditional Italian dishes, Fatto a Mano, have fused their homeland with their seaside home. The main menu is supplemented by ever-changing specials and all of their dishes are created right in front of your eyes. Fatto a Mano have recently created a gluten free base that is as good as their original and offer vegetarian and vegan options.”

Point of Interest
“Brighton & Newhaven Fish Sales is a wholesale and retail fish outlet/shop based at the end of Saxon Rd (road running down to the seafront) to the right of Hove Lagoon. Huge choice of fresh fish, as well as live lobsters and crabs - deli sauces etc - wouldn't buy fish from anywhere else! Worth a look if you're down that way...... Best known for their high quality, day caught local fish and shellfish direct from their fleet of inshore fishing boats, as well as the finest quality fish (wild and farmed) from around the UK and further afield allowing them to maintain consistent supply even during periods of poor weather or when certain species are out of season locally.”
