Culver Down is managed by the National Trust. Stunning walks Picnic areas, the beacon, A pub and little ice cream hut. Culver Down is a stunning part of the Island and a must visit. The old fort was built in 1863 by Palmerston. At the end of the cliff is an old World War 2 anti-aircraft battery. Don’t forget your camera for some breathtaking photos. A must for the Instagram! A fantastic walk right from Claremont House.
