Muzej Mimara is art museum in the city center. It is situated on Roosevelt Square, housing the collection by Wiltrud and Ante Topić Mimara. Its full official name is the Art Collection of Ante and Wiltrud Topić Mimara.

The museum is based donation Ante Topic Mimara and open to the public in 1987 . The holdings comprise 3,750 works of art of various techniques and materials, and different cultures and civilizations . There are about 450 pictures and drawings of famed masters of various school , then about 200 sculptures from antiquity to the 20th century . And archeological rarities from ancient Egypt and Greece . Glass Collection is an exceptional ensemble of artistic value staklarskog crafts . The collection of Far Eastern artworks contains items of rare materials such as jade , lacquer and rhinoceros horn . permanent exhibition : Ground floor - a collection of glass , oriental rugs and works of art of the Far East 1st floor - sculptures and works of decorative arts , from ancient civilizations to the early 20th century . 2nd floor - painting of different European schools from the time of Gothic, Renaissance , Mannerism , Baroque , 19th and 20th centuries . Regularly organized thematic and study exhibitions . Museum expert opinions and occasional educational playrooms / workshops .

This is the diverse private art collection – Zagreb’s best – of Ante Topić Mimara, who donated over 3750 priceless objects to his native Zagreb (even though he spent much of his life in Salzburg, Au).
