There are several of these cafes in the area, the nearest one being First Avenue where you can find excellent coffee and savoury food and every Friday they make a variety of deliciously indulgent donuts.

Open from 9am until sundown, this is where I head for a post-swim (or post-run) coffee and pastry. Also open for lunch and sundowners - you could happily spend most of the day here.

One of several Flour Pot bakeries around Brighton & Hove - this one is down at the seafront. This branch is also open evenings in the summer months, for sourdough pizzas, wine on tap, and more. About 40 minutes walk south and east from here, but on a fair day it's a nice destination if you fancy a walk along the seafront.

Great for breakfast, brunch or lunch. This one is located on the beach by the i360.

Delicious food, fantastic location on the beach near the i360. On a sunny day it gets very busy - patience is a virtue at times like this!
