The Beechwood Hotel was Agatha Christie's summer residence. From 1936 until the 1960s Agatha Christie stayed here many times as the guest of her friends whose private home it then was, often sitting in the summer house to write. The Hotel, Restaurant and Rooms reflect the elegance of that period. They have a full set of Agatha Christie novels and a postcard and personal letter written by Agatha Christie to Mrs McLeod which are available for guests to peruse. We also have a lovely collection of pictures from the Beechwood Hotel's past.
