The Stornoway Castle Grounds are great for a stroll and you can also hire Segways at the Woodlands Centre in the grounds if you want a different experience!

Roaming in the extensive castle grounds is a good way to have a view of the town from across the harbour and marina. you will enjoy lovely walks in the mature woodlands.

Visit Stornoway castle grounds for lovely walks in the trees with views of Stornoway harbour. There is a Gruffalo trail that kids will love. Lots of mountain bike trails too. Have a cuppa or lunch in the lovely Woodlands Centre cafe.
