Tips from locals
Opened in 1871, this 100-ft. Brown-truss wooden bridge still accommodates vehicular traffic across the Flat River just north of Lowell. It is adjacent to a forested county park crisscrossed with hiking trails.
Enjoy this part of Lowell History! Covered bridges, Charcoal Grills, and open park sites on the Flat river. This park includes multiple Playgrounds for Children, Local Festivals, and several bathrooms throughout the park.
