Walk or run around the Lake and take in beautiful wetlands, bird life, historic monuments, boat houses, and the Botanical Gardens. Drinking fountains, picnic/play-grounds and seating are dotted around the lake.

Lovely hour walk around the lake. On your walk there are cafes/hotels to stop off at for a coffee or cleansing ale. The Botanical Gardens are always worth a look and the Prime Ministers walk, busts of every Prime Minister of Australia, bar the last few, it's been difficult to keep up!

.. walk the lake or take your bike, approx. 6 km, with several cafe's to stop and enjoy the scenery, walk past the Botanical Gardens, play grounds, feed the swans and ducks, take your kayak or just chillax somewhere, overlooking the lake.

Lovely spot for a picnic, feeding the ducks, seeing the famous black swans (best not to feed them... they get a bit bitey!) take a walk. Ride a bike. Excellent spot for a run. Enjoy.
