Steam train from Otavalo to Ibarra. The electric-diesel Liberty Train will take you on a trip through through 57 kms. of landscapes, culture and history of the Imbabura province. This 85 year old route has been restored to its original state. The 8 hour trip includes bilingual guides, visit of the Imbabura Factory Museum and the Sal Museum or Ethnography Hall, snack, lunch; shopping possibilities and an afro-ecuadorian dance presentation.
