This is the beach that's a 15 minute walk away. Slightly colder then it's southern partner but still a great option. This beach also has SS Sicamous Heritage Museum in an old ship. If kids need to burn off energy there's LocoLanding Adventure Park right beside it to.

Okanagan Beach has beautiful, soft sand with a Wibit play centre for families. Check out the Wibit online..I'd say it is best for kids ages 7+...younger kids can go on! The beach is quite large and spreads down lakeshore drive. Lakeshore drive has great places to eat, drink and get ice cream!

Located on Lakeshore Drive, Okanagan Lake Beach is one of our more popular and beautiful beach areas. Featuring nearly a kilometre of premium, sandy beach, Okanagan Lake Beach offers a swimming area, rest rafts, kiddie slides, shade trees, washrooms nearby as well as communal fire pits and free parking. Visitors can walk from one end of the beach to the other, stopping at restaurants, shops and beach vendors along with way. On the lake you will find the S.S. Sicamous Museum and Heritage Park as well as an inflatable water park, perfect for younger families. Okanagan Lake Beach is also home to the iconic Peach Ice Cream Shop, a bucket-list item while visiting Penticton.
