From concerts in summer to shopping, visit this town to have some fun. You will find plenty of dining and cocktail bars options. Do not forget to visit the castle ruins and the summer home of the Swedish Royals. If you feel like swimming, there is also a nice beach for a dip.

Borgholm Castle is a castle ruin outside town of Borgholm on Öland. The ruin is one of Öland's biggest tourist attractions, including various guided tours and exhibitions.

For lovers of history. This castle ruin is one of the more preserved ones in scandinavia from its era. It is located on a plateau above the small city of Borgholm. You can either drive to the castle and enter it, or take a walk through the oaktree forest below the castle and get a pretty cool view of the castle from below.
