The real start of your trip to Everglades NP begins at the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center. One of the most unique National Parks in the United States. In the summer, we recommend mosquito spray, sunscreen and constant hydration. Visiting in winter and spring are great for birdwatchers, with a lot of migratory birds, and less humidity and lower temperatures. 25-30 minutes south west of your accommodations.

EVERGLADES NATIONAL PARK: This is the Southernmost park entrance in Homestead, which stretches all the way to Flamingo. Don't miss Anhinga Trail in the mornings and evenings when wildlife activity is at its peak.
