Completed in 1989, the Kuokkala bridge is an essential part of the City of Jyväskylä, and it is in fact one of the best-known Jyväskylä landmarks. The bridge connecting the Lutakko district in the city centre and the Kuokkala district is located very prominently in the urban landscape of Jyväskylä.
