Ballinesker beach is a 13 minute drive from the property and is also a blue flag beach. Has toilet facilities and car parking. this beach leads to Curracloe. This is also the beach where Steven Spielberg shot the film “Saving Private Ryan” in 1997 and is covered in soft, wind blown sand. Many of the film crew frequented Corrigans Pub in Blackwater , where you will see Tom Hanks army boots hanging up!

Beautiful sandy beach where ''SavingPrivate Ryan" opening scenes were filmed. Stunning! Extends to Curracloe Beach with surf school & White Gap with beautiful forrest walk which leads back onto beach. Curracloe & Ballinesker effectively all the one beach with approximately an hour & a half's walk on beautiful sand.
