Fabulous place to learn about our local fauna. This is our local rehab location for wild animals.

Haven't been yet, but Kansas City has SO much to see and do, it takes time to get to all of them! Also, check out the Swope Park Mountain Bike Trail and Cave Spring close by...

See Wilma, an 80 year old box turtle. In total, Lakeside has about about 75 animals including two bald eagles, two turkey vultures, three barred owls, three varieties of hawks and two Kestrel falcons. This is one of MO’s largest wildlife rehabilitation facilities and provides education & recreation focused on the environment. Nice hiking trails too!
