One of the most famous walks in Barmouth that visitors have been enjoying since Victorian times; a fairly easy 3-4 mile scramble across the hills to see stunning views across the estuary and to the mountain range at Cadair Idris

The Panorama Walk is an excellent way to get views of the countryside, Idris Cader, the Mawddach estuary and the coastline a short walk. There is a small amount of parking for maybe 8 or so cars at the top of Panorama Road or you can easily walk to the trailhead from town. Paths are generally well marked and obvious and it's not too challenging if you can cope with a bit of steep climbing.

[Moderate] Fairly long but easy terrain and well worth it for the views!

Drive up to the free parking area & just do the short version which is only 1 mile in length. The views across to the Cader Idris Ridge & down the Mawddach estuary is one of the best in the UK for such little effort.
