Beach 4 has the coolest tide pools of the 4 numbered beaches and also offers some adventurous ocean rock climbing and scrambling that my kids enjoyed once they were 10 and older. Lots of crashing waves and cool Starfish and Sea Anemones.

Must Do! Try to plan your trip around low tide. Ocean Beaches, beach combing, fishing, sunsets, sunrises, whale watching. 30 min Dr North.

Probably our favorite beach. Go during low tide to see beautiful tidepools full of brightly colored starfish and sea creatures. Also check out the "Tree of Life" while there, a stunning tree root cave (near the Kalaloch campground).
