Beautiful Church, only one on the River Thames in London area - has unique stained glass window dedicated to William Blake
Our Parish church built in 1773, beautiful ancient religious spot on the Thames. Contains grave of Benedict Arnold.
Beautiful Georgian church with a slender spire and a neo-classical portico next to an ancient slipway access to the river. William Blake was wed here and JMW Turner painted the river from the porch.
Beautiful church located on the river side, the church grounds are open and there is usually many swans and other wild life. beautiful place to sit down and enjoy 5 minutes of peace.
Grade I listed church by the river originally built by King Aethelred in 800 AD. The church is recorded in the Doomsday Book of 1086. General Benedict Arnold is buried here for all Americans to visit, the poet William Blake was married in the church whilst William Turner painted sunsets from the window (he lived on the opposite bank of the river and rowed over daily). 100 metres away
