Store dates back to 1863. It is the oldest operating general mercantile store in the Louisiana Purchase. Located on Front Street. They still use a cash register that is over 147 years old.

Kaffie-Frederick has operated continuously for 159 years. Five generations of the two families have overseen daily operations since 1863. As Louisiana's oldest general store, KF features everything you remember from the "good old days" like hardware, housewares, cookware and kitchen supplies, classic toys, and gifts.
