Pedonalja is one of the most unique streets in Tirana. It is next to the city centre of Tirana. The street serves as a main boulevard where cars are not allowed 24 hours daily. Only pedestrians are allowed to walk there. There are a few restaurant-cafes. In different periods of the year the Municipality of Tirana organizes different events.

Here is the Castle of Tirana and within its walls a new recreation area for the capital has recently been created. This pedestrian area serves as an environment where are promoted local artisans and traditions, culinary and art of Tirana.
