Pendleton King Park is a short walk away with a dog park, hydrangea garden, gazebo, tank memorial, tennis courts, disc golf course, and two playgrounds for younger and older children (swings and bathrooms present). It is also a picturesque running route through the park and looping around through local streets.

Noted as one of the favorite things to do in Augusta with kids, Pendleton King Park is a 64-acre bird sanctuary located in central Augusta. The park features a diverse landscape that invites visitors to immerse themselves in nature. There is a lot to see and do on a trip to Pendleton King Park. You can wander through the pine forests, step along the sand ridges, or journey along the marshes. If you’re looking for a day of family activity, this is the place to be. In addition to playgrounds, the park features walking and cycling trails, a disc golf course, an educational tree trail, and even a historic cemetery to explore.

Dog park, disc golf, places to hang and more! This is a great spot to stretch your legs and get some fresh air whether with your pups or playing the disc golf course!

Great park within walking distance. Hours open from sun up to sundown. I'm a big disc golf fan and love playing which PK provides a very fun course to play.
