Confuse and disorient yourself by visiting the Oregon Vortex! Walk through the trails and buildings that sit on unusual angles and make you feel like the laws of physics have vanished without a trace! Located 7.9 miles from Big Foot Lodge.

This is just one of those classic, weird, local, off-the-beaten-path touristy things to do. It is truly bizarre and mysteriously inexplicable. My kids love it. It doesn’t take too long and isn’t particularly commercialized.

The Oregon Vortex is a roadside attraction that opened to tourists in 1930, located on Sardine Creek in Gold Hill, Oregon. It consists of a number of interesting effects, which are gravity hill optical illusions, but which the attraction's proprietors propose are the result of paranormal properties of the area. Coordinates: 42.49313°N 123.085113°W.
