A visit to the Museum of Arts & Culture (locally known as the MAC) gives some historic insight into the area through local art & artifacts, along with rotational displays of an impressive permanent collection. There have been some wonderful special exhibitions such as the impressionists, art of the indigenous cultures and displays of contemporary artists. The museum is connected with the Campbell House, one of Spokane's historic gems; a mansion designed by local architect, Kirtland Cuter back in the early days of the city. Its a fun day.

Just across the river... Always appropriate and interesting, with impressive exhibits ranging from local art, history and culture to a journey through the history of the Titanic - on until May 20, 2018.
