Goderich, Canada - October 14, 2013: Claimed to be the largest salt mine in the world, the Sifto owned salt mine on Lake Huron extends 3 KM under the lake to exploit ancient salt deposits. The mine is a modern facility located in the village of Goderich adjacent to the centre of town on the Maitland River.
