Fūunji

Why locals recommend it

One of the first of the tsukemen—dipping-style ramen—boom that started in the mid-2000s, Fuunji has a thicker noodle than normal and a rich fish- and meat-based dipping soup. Inside there are only 15 counter seats, and people will literally be standing behind you as you eat, waiting to take over your seat. Their line is long, but it moves very quickly.
