The Mentzendorff House, with its 17th–18th century atmosphere, is the only museum of its kind in the Baltics. The museum introduces visitors to the traditions of a wealthy Rigan’s household.

House for centuries belongs to Baltic German traders family. In 1990-ties become renovated in it's original state. There is city life museum, showing Riga life from middle of XVII up to 1940
