Sealaska is a Native Corporation representing the Native People of Southeast Alaska, including Tlingit, Haida, Tsimshian. A room in the Heritage Institute is modeled after a clan house with beautiful carvings and a glass screen representing a Chilkat Woven Blanket. A very nice gift shop is attached to the building on Main Street and Seward.

A stunning structure exemplifying the culture and vibrancy of the original landholders of our region: Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian. A reservation to tour the building and the clan house are a must!
