You can take the Roslagsbanan to Österskär's sea bath, popularly known as Solbrännan. When you get off at Österskär station, you have a five-minute walk along Österskärsvägen to the bath at Trälhavet. The bath consists of a long, inviting sandy beach with a bathing jetty. Above the beach there are some pine-covered rocks and grassy areas to sunbathe on. Beyond the swimming area to the east is a pleasant playground and a large lawn. There is also an restaurant her called Solbrännan. Along the beach there is a lighted wooden walking path, which makes the beach relatively easily accessible for people with reduced mobility. The bath is very popular among windsurfers.

This has to be Stockholm County's best swimming spot! It is unusual to have plenty of sand, rock and grass options in one and the sam the same place. Exceptionally good flow of water. Unusually nice view. Good service, pleasant atmosphere overall. Real archipelago feeling.
