This is a fun hike for all ages. The trail is well developed and lots of traffic usually. Be bear aware and bring bear spray. The views from Mt. Baldy and on to Blacktail Ridge are incredible of Anchorage, The Valley, and sometimes Denali and the Alaska Range. Bring water and hiking poles.

Our local favorite hike about 10 miles up the mountain from us. A challenging 4.6 mile loop trail at the top of Skyline Drive that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. Beautiful views of Eagle River Valley and surrounding mountains alltrails.com/trail/us/alaska/mount-baldy-trail

This is a hike great for folks of all skills levels. At the top you'll get expansive views of the Knik Arm and surrounding peaks. Feel free to continue on exploring trails - the range is connected, but please do your own research for trails beyond the initial Baldy trail.
