Stunning black sandy beach. Probably the biggest beach in the north aerea. The access is difficult and dangerous, but they are building new stairs that should be available very soon. I recommend going during summer time (June to September) and with low tide. During winter could be a very dangerous place because of strong waves and current.

Access to this beach is officially closed since the stairways collapsed a few years ago. But there is an alternative route for experiences hikers – always on your own risk! You'll be rewarded with a beautiful, almost deserted black beach. Also know for nudism.

Los Patos Beach is one of the wild black sand beaches of the El Rincón, located between El Bollullo and El Ancón. It counts as the rest with a spectacular environment; wild black sand beach, quiet coastal area and high cliff with native vegetation. Important details: The north coast has dangerous currents (so it is recommended to ask locals beforehand, or just swim in the calm sea), access is publicly closed due to problems of the trail (although with great care it's usually accessed. Under own responsibility), there is no lifeguard or any type of service, in summer is more crowded, usually nudism is practiced, necessary (adequate footwear, water, shade and food, if you plan 2spend the day)

Absolutely beautiful black beach together with Playa El Bollullo. I believe it's one of the most beautiful ones of Teneriffa and definitely worth a visit. Just be aware that if you aren't a good swimmer don't go further in that you can stand, as people have died here.
