Vegetarian tacos with housemade tortillas in a cute setting. This is in Georgetown. You will want to take an Uber there (no easy metro or bus access) and plan to explore the neighborhood a bit. Located right along the Canal and close to Georgetown Waterfront.

Farmers market favorite Chaia opened its first brick-and-mortar location in 2015; a second store is currently scheduled to open in Mt. Vernon Triangle this fall.. The hearty tacos are 100 percent vegetarian and seasonal. Try the mushroom, feta and red sauce, or the creamy kale and potato with cheese, crema and green sauce. Go there for: Meat-free tacos.
