Treasure Hill (Chinese: 寶藏巖; pinyin: Bǎozàng Yán; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Pó-chōng-giâm) is a community in Taipei, Taiwan. Originally an illegal settlement, it was founded by the Kuomintang military veterans at the end of 1940's and served originally as an anti-aircraft position. he Taipei City Government[3] developed the area into an example of environmentally sustainable urban community.[4] With the policy of preservation and revitalization, the old settlement unfolded a new vision of an artivist compound which would respect the existing fabric of the community while fulfilling the regeneration concept of "symbiosis" to incorporate production and ecology in communal living and ushering in the program of an international youth hostel and creative ideas of art to further cultural exchanges with broader international communities.

Very old-fashion village locates in a modern area, really intriguing to taste the changing of this city.

This is a very cool place for me! It was an old village before. And it has been redesigned and mixed with modern and traditional Chinese culture. There are many cool shops and art to look at (or climb), and sometimes there are indie concerts held here too

The Taipei artist village. It's a mix of peculiar houses for artists, exhibitions, and in the weekend performances. Very strange atmosphere and nice view on the river.

位于公馆水岸旁的「宝藏岩国际艺术村」其历史轴线除了包含市定古迹的宝藏岩寺，更泛指从此庙附近延伸出的历史聚落，此聚落主要由六〇及七〇年代所兴建的违章建筑所形成。这些建筑依山傍水而建，蜿蜒错落且复杂，呈现台湾特殊的聚落样貌。 二〇〇四年，宝藏岩正式被登录为历史建筑，以聚落活化的形态保存下来。从二〇〇六年底，由台北市政府文化局开始进行聚落修缮的工程。二〇一〇年十月二日，「宝藏岩国际艺术村」正式营运，以「聚落共生」概念引入「宝藏家园」、「驻村计画」与「青年会所」等计划，用艺、居共构的做法活化保存宝藏岩，创造聚落多元丰富的样貌。 「宝藏岩国际艺术村」搭起了聚落居民，以及驻村艺术家之间的媒合平台，注入了宝藏岩新的生命力。 目前宝藏岩国艺术村设有14间艺术家工作室，做为国、内外驻村艺术家工作及生活的空间。除此之外，也规划了排练室、展览室及户外展演空间。 从聚落下方临河岸边的绿地眺望，整片的断垣残壁绵延成为历史断面，更形成了阅读宝藏岩丰富的历史纹理与具歧异多义的空间结构的线索。设有7间房的「阁楼青年会所」已于2014年4月正式营运。青年会所将成为聚落的路径，企图透过它的空间向度，揭露时间的刻痕，体现一个人类聚落的「生活」场所，同时藉由「住居」开放于世界的体验，亦即藉由自然的场所精神及人居的场所精神的结合和世界展开对话。 福和桥下自来水厂附近的宝藏岩，属于历史型态聚落，具地景特殊性，景观可见蜿蜒巷弄，阶梯随着缓坡起落，并沿着周围山丘构筑出天然地景与聚落错落之风貌。 近年来，透过活化保存的政策，引入艺术家与文创工作室的进驻与开放，使得大众得以见得这个沿着山坡参差错落的特殊文化共生聚落
