ROUTE E - Estadio Olímpico (18 minutes walk distance from Palau Sant Jordi) Designed by architect Pere Domènech i Roura, the Olympic Stadium was opened on 20 May 1929 for the Barcelona Universal Exposition. The second-largest stadium in the world at the time.

The Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium is a municipal sports venue located on the Montjuic mountain in the Sants-Montjuïc district, in Barcelona, Spain. The original stadium was inaugurated on May 20, 1929, by King Alfonso XIII, a day after the inauguration of the International Exhibition.
