The oldest Noh Theater in Osaka, which reached 80 years anniversary in 2008.
"Yamamoto Noh Theater" is in Osaka's office town. After burning down once by fire, it was rebuilt in 1954 and had a history of about 90 years, and in 2006 it received the designation of a nationally registered cultural property by the Culture Council.
Noh derived from the Japanese word for "skill" or "talent"—is a major form of classical Japanese musical drama that has been performed since the 14th century.
