Not really Scottish anymore, just a wonderful take-out eatery and bakery on State Road in Vineyard Haven. Gluten free and veggie options abound. Meals are made to order. Use the app on their website (scottishbakehousemv.com) to order ahead. They'll give you a pick-up time so you won't have to stand around and wait. They have picnic tables on the lawn if you only want to take out so far.

This place serves a delicious variety of baked goods, healthy homegrown lunches and dinners. Strongly recommend. Only seating available are picnic table outside. Great for picking up a guaranteed healthy hearty meal.

This is my favorite place to get take out food -- simple, nourishing and delish! I usually get the black bean and rice with plantains and mango salsa (my mouth is watering while I type!) but they also have delicious chicken and other meats as well as several other veggie options, such as the cauliflower curry dish. They make great desserts, too!
