Metropole is a historic multipurpose building complex in Jakarta, Indonesia. Metropole is the oldest surviving movie theater in Jakarta after the Grand Theater cinema in Senen. One of its main tenants is the 21 Cineplex group, which operates the Metropole XXI movie theater in the complex's main building

When the colonial time, some building in Jakarta is got influenced by the european. This is one of the building from the colonial time. Now become a movie theatre & some restaurants inside there.

Metropole is the oldest surviving movie theater in Jakarta which was build in 1932. This building was listed as an architectural heritage site by governor in 1993.

Such a pretty old building with cinema XXI inside and the famous special food such as Ayam Bakar (Grilled Chicken), Siomay, Bakso (Meatballs), Es Teller & an authentic Indonesian food court in the 1st floor named Roemah Kuliner.
