"Am Roten Tor" exists a free Spices Garden where you can picking different seasonings, as well as Tea Spices you can find here. The Garden is a really long Augsburger Tradition, back to the Romans. You should enjoy a walk around the "Rote Tor Park" it is the biggest in the heart of Augsburg, near by the famous "Augsburger Puppenkiste".

For centuries, anyone can pick their herbs for free in the herb garden. Unique banana tree. The rich give it to the poor, that's how it works till today.

Wenn die Sonne scheint, kannst du dich mitten in der Stadt sonnen und ausruhen. Frische Kräuter für den Eigenbedarf pflücken (alleine ca. 20 verschiedene Minze-Sorten) und zur Ruhe kommen.
