Lilac Festival in the spring is awesome! A very nice park to relax, have a picnic, and see the botanical gardens and greenhouse.

Manito Park is one of Spokane’s gems. It is located South of downtown about a 10-15 minute drive from the Airbnb. Throughout the spring, summer and fall this park has beautiful sights, ponds, play areas, and gardens. The park has many gardens including the lilac garden, the Japanese garden, the rose garden, and the spectacular Duncan garden. This is a must see for visitors. It is a great place to bring the family or take a relaxing stroll around the duck pond. This large park is a photographer’s and Instagram lover’s dream.

Don't miss the rose garden. The Japanese Garden does close at night and has been closed recently due to covid. It's worth the walk to see if it is open!
