Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery is about 100 miles away from us, much of it on challenging backroads. However, it's certainly worth the trip, particularly if you have an interest in Tibetan Buddhism.

Tibetan Buddhist complex associated with the Karma Kagyu school located at Eskdalemuir, Scotland. Enjoy this serene peace of tranquility. The gardens are amazing, bridges and waterfall, cafe.

After a drive up the beautiful Ettrick Valley you come to the largest Tibetan Monastery outside of Tibet. Visit the beautiful Temple, gardens, gift shop and vegetarian/vegan cafe.
