Spotting deer on horseback
We'll start at the meadow and take the horses from their pasture. We will saddle them, if you cannot, I can help you. We will make a ride of one hour but the whole experience will take an hour and a half at least. through the forest, we will have a great chance to see the deers, because when we are riding, the deers do not smell the humans, because the smell of horses is dominant and the deers know the horses for grazing in the same meadows. It will be neccecary to have some experience with horsebackriding, from 12 years and up you can enjoy these wonderful horses. We have also have a chance to see ( the traces of ) roe deers, badgers, squirrels etc. The paths in the forest are sandy, perfect for the horses. I will adapt this trip to your experience. This experience is only for 1 person. If you are a family, the others can make a nice walk in the forest and also have fun. We could make an appointment to see each other at a picknick-table for instance. In the schedule I could not indicate that you can come at whatever time you like. I put 11:30 on the website, but it is possible as long as it is not dark. please let me know if you want something that I did not mention, I can adjust myself and my horses to your wishes.

Exploring the Dutch outdoors - "De Veluwe"
The 'Veluwe' is the place to be in The Netherlands when it comes to hiking through forests, 'heide' and spotting wildlife - from small birds to large mammals like deer and wild boars. Being in nature is my greatest passion and during my everyday hikes, I've discovered the best routes in the neighbourhood to walk on and to admire nature, and probably even spot a deer or two. Depending on the time of the day and your own wishes, there are three options I'm happy to offer you: 1. A scenic route, with some nice vantage points to take great photos. We will go alongside and even through both WW1 and WW2 original and unmarked trenches. This route takes you through varied terrein such as sand, open plain, forest and dirt tracks. 2. The wildlife hike. I designed this track myself based on places where I've spotted deer and wild boars. Best time is in the late afternoon, but during the day the forest is a very relaxing place. 3. Want me to guide you through the Hoge Veluwe / Veluwezoom? No problem, just message me :) On the way, I will be more than happy to tell you everything about Dutch wildlife and (if you're interested) wildlife and landscape photography. Just be sure to bring along your camera gear, some good hiking boots and be sure to wear appropriate clothing for the time of the day and year. Looking forward to showing you the beauty of the last remaining Dutch wilderness!
