Take in stunning views of the High Desert of the Mojave, accompanied by goats. We’ll meet our 15 friendly Nubian goats in their pens. They’ll wait for us to open their gate, and then these loving animals will show us the way. We’ll follow the herd at an easy pace into desert washes and onto boulders, where we’ll find beautiful spots to sit and chat—or simply gaze into the silence of the landscape, the gaping sky, and the goats enjoying themselves. We’ll walk about three miles and return with the goats after the sunset. We will begin at the red barn where you will learn about this 12 acre sanctuary and the stories behind the 100+ rescue farm animals living on it. From there we will explore three different pastures that include horses, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats and a goose. While you are here we are thrilled to guide you through an up-close experience with all of these amazing creatures while they roam freely. Many of these animals will walk right up to you to take a snack from your hand or allow you take a close-up photo with them! At Bluebird Farm we offer an intimate family-friendly experience for all ages. When you arrive we will say hello, go over the farm rules, give a quick tour of the property and amenities then the fun begins. There's no strict timeline, you can enjoy the 3 hours at your own pace. You can meet all the animals like our alpaca, Scottish Highland cows and calf, horses, goats, mini horses and mini donkeys. We have a small critter corner where you can hang with a bunny, ducks, a tortoise, guinea pigs and chickens. Mini horse rides are available for kids (75lb weight limit) and a hayride is available for everyone! ***mini horse rides and hay ride NOT included on discounted weekday tours*** Kids can roam and use their imagination at the outdoor play area. There's a mini farmers market, play house, flower shop, garage with power wheels, mini garden, mud kitchen, sandbox and swings. Make sure to bring your own lunch and snacks. You will help us free fly our falcons on the cliffs of La Jolla at the Torrey Pines Gliderport, a National Historical Place and beloved landmark. In our Experience, offered through Total Raptor Experience San Diego, you'll learn how to call and release one of our trained birds using a falconry glove, and admire their aerial skills while they soar above the cliffs. You'll get an up-close and personal view of their mastery of flight as they perform simulated hunting behaviors, swooping, ground-skimming and diving at high speed after a moving target. At the same time we will discuss raptor flight styles and how they contribute to the diverse ecologies of different types of hawks and falcons. Guests will be given ample time to pet, feed and interact with our friendly animals in a beautiful, scenic setting at the foot of Blossom Peak. We have many horses that would love a grooming and treats. Pet and hold our friendly chickens. Our goats love attention and will enjoy a little play time or just a few cuddles and treats. We even have cows that loves a scratch behind the ears or to sit in your lap. Occasionally, we have baby animals that might need bottle feeding or extra care (Currently have bottle baby goats!! 02/24). We hope you leave with lots of pictures, smiles, and a love for our animals. We do our best to make this experience as enjoyable as possible for all ages! All proceeds go directly to our animals care. Please think twice before booking if you do not enjoy close encounters with animals. We have a hand washing station for the end of your visit. No restrooms available. No pets. Closed toe shoes required. Horseback riding on property available upon request.

We'll meet you at our hidden desert location and guide you to the private, natural mineral hot springs for your 2 hours of soothing soaking. We'll take a short trail flanked by the distant San Bernardino mountain range as we traverse the unique desert flora and discuss the origins of the natural mineral hot springs. As you step behind a natural blind, the pair of vintage clawfoot tubs come into view, vibrantly restored and strategically positioned to help you fully absorb the majestic views. Fresh, untouched 102-degree mineral water fills the tubs and constantly replenishes at a rate you control. At this point, we leave you to slip into your bathing suit behind privacy blinds, and then slide into the awaiting tubs.
