There is one twin-size and one queen bed to rest and gaze into the hint of indoor twinkling summer Dakota skies. The private bathroom is fully stocked (towels, soap, etc) with a shower, toilet, sink. The home is newly remodeled with advanced Ductless Central Heat and Air Conditioning and a new large bathroom. The Kitchen is fully stocked for cooking, coffee and juice. You have a spacious living room, Wi-Fi, Dish Network & streaming TV, recliner, couch and designed work desk. The two bedrooms have large closets and comfy beds. You have access to outdoor patio, screen porch and grills.

King's Guest Ranch Vacation Heaven

Our ranch is close to Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Medora, Medora Musical, Maah Daah Hey trail and restaurants. We offer a different experience than you will get it Medora. The ranch is a peaceful retreat while being an easy 8 mile drive from town. Guests routinely tell us the ranch rivals the national park for scenery and its right out their door. An added bonus, the drive to town is spectacular. If you need Wifi we have free Wifi in our guest lounge in our garage.

When you take the I-94 Gladstone exit you will see the 80 ' high "Birds in Flight" sculpture. At the end you will be at the enchanted castle. Small, one story pet-free, smoke-free home available for rent. This house contains 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, living area, and laundry. Two bedrooms feature queen size beds while the third offers a twin trundle bed. It is clean and updated with central air and heat. Wi-fi available as well as an outdoor patio with grill enclosed by a privacy fence. Keurig available, bring your favorite K-cups. Parking includes on street parking and one off-street parking space.

This location borders Makoshika State Park. You'll enjoy views of the badlands right outside your windows. This park offers a variety of activities, from hiking, disc golf, guided dinosaur adventures, and other events throughout the summer months. You will also be close to the downtown area, where boutique shopping, coffee shops, and bars are located. The Yellowstone River is also right there, offering trails and agate & hunting. We also welcome hunters to the area.

Lone Butte Ranch-Cedar Post

The Cedar Post was built in 2021. This log cabin is one of 3 cabins located on our working cattle ranch. We are located in the heart of the Badlands, only 14 miles south of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Unit, and 65 miles north of the TRNP South Unit. We have miles of hiking trails or riding trails if you prefer to bring your horses. This secluded cabin has it's own private hot tub and all your modern amenities but still has that rustic feel.

Scenic Buckhorn Ranch Cabin

The log cabin is located in an isolated area of the North Dakota Badlands, about halfway between the North and South Units of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Rustic on the outside but modern on the inside, the cabin is decorated in traditional western decor (including extensive animal mounts). We offer the comforts of home in a setting almost too rugged to be imagined.

The Bunkhouse at Oleo Acres

This is a cozy cabin ideal for guests wanting to visit the North and South units of Theadore Roosevelt National Park and Historic Medora. It is located in the middle between both units of the park. The cabin has easy access off of highway 85. It is ideal for a couple wanting a base camp for the National Parks, Mah Dah Hey Trail, Enchanted Highway and National Grasslands.
