Woodhill Way Burra

MarcusRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Fantastic old home built in the 1840's with so much character. Both bedrooms are really well set apart - perfect to have a little space from the kids (or other travelling companions). Also having 2 separate lounge rooms, with TV's was nice as it allows you to spread out a little inside - especially helpful for when the weather is bad. Cafe downstairs, pub just across the road, shops 1 minute walk away, entire town within 5 min walking reach. 10/10 location. Wood fire works a treat in the cold weather. There are at least 3 well stocked second hand/antique stores in town. If history is your thing - this home in Burra is the place for you. Would also recommend the Burra Heritage Passport Key if you have time too - starts just across the road and is a great way to explore. Wayne the host is a top country bloke and communicates quickly through the app/chat.
An indoor swimming pool is surrounded by glass walls, allowing for natural light to enter. The pool features a unique curved shape, with a spa area nestled at one end. Potted plants line the space, complementing the warm tones of the exposed brick and wooden beams above.

Coach House

BronwynRating, 5 stars3 days ago
The coach house is a beautifully renovated building, full of old charm and modern amenities. The kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil needed, including a coffee machine and dishwasher. A log fire and reverse cycle airconditioner keep the elegantly furnished lounge comfortable and warm. There's a balcony and a large deck area to enjoy a morning coffee. The meals at the nearby Bon Accord Hotel were great value. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Tim was a wonderful host. Nothing was too much trouble.

Unwind in Our Cosy 2 BR Spa Cottage with Log Fire. Mintaro Hideaway Carpenter

StuartRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely relaxing place for a quiet weekend away. The cottage is gorgeous and cozy and comfy, and the courtyard was a lovely place to sit and unwind in the afternoon. Love the fireplace and the spa, and Mintaro has more on the doorstep than we realised (or were able to get to.) Will stay there again next time we go to the Clare Valley.

hillside cottage built 1864 with garden

HelenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
As described, the cottage was built in the 1800's and still has it's original floorboards. The house was cold (mid May) when we got in but Gloria provided plenty of heaters to take the chill away. The beds were comfortable with additional blankets/quilts/throw rugs around the place if needed. The two queen beds had electric blankets. The two single beds in the coal cellar (be careful climbing down) had an oil heater in the room to keep the room comfy. Eating off crockery from a bygone era was a treat. The outside washing machine and dryer made the travelling life easier.
A wooden hot tub is positioned on a gravel patio, surrounded by open rural views. Nearby trees provide shade, and a wooden step leads into the tub. Soft clouds drift overhead, completing the serene outdoor setting.

Luxury, Hot tub & Pizza Oven , Country Escape

SarahRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The old beautiful homestead had all the lovely parts of a big country, family home but with well done modern updates and conveniences. Lots of room for a big family and also great cosy areas. Plenty of wild life (birds, kangaroos, lizards and we were even lucky enough to see a snake - that went on its way quickly). We took advantage of the pizza oven that was easy to use. We would highly recommend!
