Vacation rentals in The Pound

We had a lovely stay with Colette in one of her lodges recently. The place was cosy, warm and felt very homely. Colette came to meet us when we arrived as I had said our little boy was afraid of dogs. She even left us some of her own hens eggs which were delicious for breakfast the next morning. We would highly recommend staying here and look forward to going back.

Brilliant location within walking distance of all the main attractions , restaurants and bars. The house was well equipped with everything needed, and more. It was spotlessly clean and had big and comfortable bedrooms. Lots of natural light and great views of the harbour. Pamela was so helpful in the lead up to our visit and quickly responded to any questions we had. The place was perfect for our group and would definitely recommend.

What a GREAT spot! Nadia was fantastic as she met us for check in and ensured everything went smoothly. The home is beautiful, cozy, and within 8 min of grocery, restaurants, and gas stations. A short drive out to the Stairway of heaven for nice hike and awesome tour at Marble caves nearby! Definitely recommend!!

The location of the cabin was beautifully located. Donatas was extremely helpful with any queries and extremely responsive via chat. The weekend was great, the hot tub was the highlight and the BBQ was a great added touch for making dinner. Highly recommend and would definitely come back the future

Stephen and Áine were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. We loved our time at their beautiful cabin, it was cozy and perfect to have some quiet and tranquil time in the countryside. The sundown overlooking the lake was amazing just like the stargazing at night. The cabin has everything you could ask for to have a wonderful time. It is constructed very well, has top notch insulation and a fully operational bathroom and kitchen. Visits from Luna the dog are an added bonus we very much enjoyed. We would definitely stay there again and can only recommend it.

The accommodation was clean, tidy, presentable and very comfortable, it came with all the necessities. Catherine was a lovely host and she welcomed us with her home made scones which were delicious. Catherine is very friendly and helpful. We loved her hospitality. The house is private and comes with a beautiful surroundings with beautiful animals all around. We will definitely revisit. Clodaghs place was Amazing! The location was so central to all the facilities in the town. The place was spotless. Clodagh was so welcoming and friendly. The place had everything that you could need. Also very reasonably priced. Thank you Clodagh!

Andrea was the perfect host - friendly, welcoming, warm. I felt comfortable, safe and at home straight away. The loft was perfect too, spacious, had everything I needed and more, and a super comfy bed! Thank you Andrea, definitley on my list of places to revisit!
