Our third visit to this peaceful location by the sea. This is a charming area and we love the friendly and helpful local community. We were saddened by the loss of access to the beach by the ongoing anti-erosion work along the water front. However this did not prevent us from enjoying the property. I am sure we will be back again!

I was there for 1 month Fred has a friendly way to win people for himself. The view is amazing. It is not a carefree package, but an adventure holiday. The house is in the constant war against the sea, sometimes very high waves and often lush wind. Sometimes the surf is close to the house. The result is high humidity: everything is slightly damp, frequent power outages and a lot of rust. So much from the description and photos is no longer true. The roof is unusable. One half of the balcony could not be entered. The tree has flipped. Fred is very helpful and available. Because the house is a permanent construction site. He sent craftsmen to seal windows or excavators to build ramparts against the sea. 20 power outages in a month. Because a lot in the house only works with electricity, I left it several times and slept elsewhere. The 3,000 euros rent for 1 month for this is far too expensive. A comfortable place to stay, close to town and other amenities. Innovative room layout which I like most. Restaurants nearby are good too.
