The apartment was very modern and clean. It is centered nearby the castle - note that the streets are pretty small in the center of the village, so it's better when you have a small car. Also, the road from Catania to Montalbano are very curvy and damaged at the end.

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine en famille en Sicile. Zuzana et Alessandro sont des hôtes au top. Accueillants, gentils, et toujours prêts à nous donner de bons conseils pour des visites. L'appartement est vraiment très bien situé, propre, bien équipé et le jardin est magnifique. Bref, nous recommandons !

I highly recommend this Villa - it surpassed our expectations. The best aspect is Maurizio’s services and excellent communication. He helped organise transfers (even at very short notice), arranged pizza chefs at the villa, and reliably responded to all our requests promptly. Hospitality and care like a 5* hotel. I planned a trip for 4 days for a group of 14 girls in mid-May. As soon as we landed in Catania, we felt we were being personally looked after. Maurizio helped me pre-arrange minibus transfers and kept in regular contact to ensure all was well. Exploring the grounds of the villa was a highlight. We enjoyed fresh oranges from the trees and squeezed large lemons into our drinks. There’s an excellent outdoor gazebo area with concrete ground and tent-like roof surrounded by beautiful trees. The terraces provide beautiful views of the sea, sunset and islands. The kitchen is small but was sufficient to cook for 14 people, with large pots/pans. Bedrooms huge and spacious

Francesco and your wife are truly extraordinary. You can tell they just want to share this happiness with the house and the property, and it’s not just about making money. You feel very comfortable and welcome and have the feeling that you are part of the history of this place because they both talk about it so passionately. I wish I could speak Italian better so I could also talk with Francesco’s wife. I think we would have gotten along well :D The bungalow is really very cute. You have to be a bit careful since you sleep in one room. It’s all mentioned in the description, but I overlooked it at first. The location is perfect and Mondello is a dreamlike beautiful place. I’m looking forward to coming back.

The apartment is perfect for exploring Cefalu, right in the historic centre. It is super clean and equiped with all you need, and more. Overall very beautiful renovated with charming art and accesoires. The wellness bathroom is amazing, on a few rainy days it gave us relaxation at home. Only thing to consider is that due to its location it can be loud at night. Dario is a great host, very flexible and easy to communicate with. We would definitely like to stay here again!

We stayed at Lampeduso for 3 nights and it definitely wasn’t long enough. It’s such a great Airbnb in a perfect location. Palermo is such an interesting city, with its mix of cultures and all its gritty charm. The palace was perfect. It rained for two of the days we were there, but because the villa was so fantastic, the weather didn’t affect us at all. The place is huge, with great amenities that made a big difference—washer and dryer for our soaked clothes, umbrellas ready to go, and plenty of space to enjoy a good card game. When the sun did come out, we spent early evenings on the patio next to the pool. Honestly, the villa alone makes us want to return to Palermo.

The apartment was spotless and very central. Within walking distance of all the main tourist areas in Catania and the cathedral is literally 1 minute away. Some lovely restaurants nearby too. The roof terrace is a very big, fantastic outdoor space. Only downside was the noise from the bars at night, but to be honest, this stopped about midnight and most nights we enjoyed visiting them anyway.

Great villa up on the slopes. Drive up to the villa can be a little daunting at first but you get used to it after the first couple of times! The views is incredible, waking up to see the sunrise every day was lovely. Hot tub was great in the cooler evenings. Location is decent when you consider you can take the train from Mascali to pretty much anywhere on the East coast. Just have to factor in the drive (15 mins) or walk (1 Hour) when taking the train. Otherwise you're not far from the main road E45. The kitchen is beautiful, we all loved cooking in their, and the common space big enough to be spacious for 9 people. The icing on the cake was the pizza party, Alberto brings ingredients and dough for the pizzas and you get to make/bake them yourselves.

Der Aufenthalt bei Lory war sehr schön, die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war schnell und unkompliziert. Die Wohnung, als auch die Lage sind wunderschön, man hat seine Ruhe und ist schnell mit dem Roller oder Bus in der Stadt und die Aussicht auf der Terrasse ist wie auf den Fotos! Wir haben von Lory gute Tipps für Restaurants, Rollervermietung und sehenswerte Orte auf der Insel bekommen. Alles in allem war es ein toller Urlaub und können die Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen!

Magnifique séjour avec une vue sur l’Etna depuis la terrasse (avec une éruption en plus!)! Super communication (même si je ne parlais pas italien) avec Césare, qui nous rappelle qu’il faut être « tranquilo » ;) Petites attentions pour le petit déjeuner et il nous a même guidé à pied pour aller manger chez les mamme del borgo. Merci !☺️

Giuseppe est un hôte exceptionnel, très serviable et disponible. Le village de Motta Camastra est très agréable et la vue sublime. Nous avons eu la chance d'y être pendant les 2 jours de la fête du village donc nous avons pu profiter des concerts, feux d'artifice, processions, illuminations et fanfare. L'appartement est très fonctionnel, bien placé dans le village et permet de profiter des différentes visites à faire aux alentours dont l'Etna. On regrette de ne pas y rester plus longtemps!

We had a wonderful week in Patti - Lara’s home was the perfect base to explore the island from. Lara and Martina were extremely helpful, providing lots of recommendations for places to eat and visit. The pool is gorgeous, and there are balconies all around the house so you can chase the sun (or shade) throughout the day. We really can’t recommend this place enough.

Das Appartement ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und punktet mit seiner tollen Lage mitten in der Altstadt und der herrlichen Dachterrasse. Nur leider war der Ausblick auf den Dom nicht möglich, weil er gerade restauriert wird und ein Gerüst mit Planen den Blick versperrt. Antonio ist sehr nett und entgegenkommend und die Matratze war die beste während unserer Silzilienreise. Die Wohnung war eine Oase der Ruhe in der trubeligen Stadt.

As is often the case, the pictures of the view don't come close to the actual view we enjoyed during our stay. Absolutely breathtaking! The apartment was nicely appointed and around a 15 minute walk to the core town activities of Taormina. The owners of the apartment live upstairs and were a joy to get to know. If you love dogs, their sweet Papaya will become your new best friend. Our hosts were very responsive and even brought us some sweet lemon mousse (and shared the recipe!) for us to enjoy. I am quite certain we will be visiting Taormina again, as it is one of the most beautiful places on earth, and I will definitely look to stay here again.

In een woord geweldig. Het huis is absoluut perfect en heerlijk rustig. Het terras en het zwembad zijn geweldig. De gevulde koelkast was perfect. Na een dag van reizen heb je niet altijd zin om naar de supermarkt te gaan. Alles was aanwezig voor een vliegende start van een vakantie. De plek is ideaal om de rust op te zoeken maar ook om uitstapjes te maken naar de omringende stadjes en dorpjes. Met name Cefalu heeft ons hart gestolen. Het is absoluut een aanrader om de tips van Marco op te volgen. Met name zijn kennis over de aanwezige restaurants was ideaal. We reizen al meer dan 10 jaar via Airbnb, maar dit huis en locatie (en de host) staat in de top van de lijst.

Everything from the booking to check in and recommendations was great!!! But the best part was the view. 5 stars…we loved our stay and already want to return

We had a wonderful stay at la Mortillina. The view is absolutely amazing. Lorenzo and Francesca were very welcoming and friendly. We even enjoyed a delicious homemade dinner with them. The place itself is nicely decorated and clean. Highly recommend!

The villa is great, and the garden and pool are huge and very attractive, and also well maintained. Paul is an excellent host, friendly and responsive. You definitely need a car here as there are no pavements on the road outside the gates and the traffic whizzes along it. The local town, Trecastagni, is nice, with bars, restaurants and shops of all sorts. Overall our stay was excellent. The only downside was a building site next door that was noisy and created fumes and dust during the week, but I guess that won't be forever. Already missing it, the morning swim especially, and of course the sight (and sound) of Etna. Highly recommended. Visit Taormina while you're there. And try the Etna DOC wines.

Sehr entspanntes Anwesen direkt am Etna - etwas rustikaler aber mit sehr viel Charme. Wir waren mit Baby hier und haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt und die ruhige Berglage genossen. Vor Ort gab es alles, was wir brauchten und auch die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Ende Mai war es dort auf 700m Höhe noch etwas frisch, weshalb wir den Pool nicht wirklich nutzen konnten. Ich denke am besten kommt man hier im Sommer hin, wenn es an der Küste schon zu heiß ist und man vor der Hitze fliehen will. Wir konnten den großen Außenbereich aber trotzdem sehr geniessen. Ein Auto ist unbedingt erforderlich und die Anfahrt von der Küste ist stellenweise steil, kurvig und zieht sich ziemlich hin - da hat man nicht sehr oft Bock drauf.. Wir haben auch deshalb nur jeden zweiten Tag Ausflüge gemacht und ansonsten viel am Haus entspannt. Andrea war sehr nett und hilfsbereit und obwohl er selbst in den Urlaub gefahren ist, sehr gut zu erreichen.

Helgas place exceeded our expectations. We had family of 7 and the apartment is spacious and very comfortable with an amazing view . The location is quiet whilst being only a few minutes walk from the town centre . We had a problem with the shower head and it was sorted within a couple of hours . Great service . Het Castello in Mascalucia was het verblijf meer dan waard. Hartelijke gastvrouw en gastheer maakten ons wegwijs in dit pareltje aan de voet van de Etna. Heel bijzonder zo’n oase in het bruisende dorpsleven. We kwamen helemaal tot rust. Dank aan Claudia. Van harte aan bevolen!

Merci Claudia, les instructions pour l'arrivée et le depart était très simple et flexibles. L'appartement était très calme, avec une belle vue, et un environnement agréable au milieu des citronniers et des cycas ! L'appartement est très bien équipé et nous n'avons manqué de rien, c'était un très bon choix pour notre famille avec nos 2 derniers enfants. La piscine etait un peu fraiche à cette saison, mais nous nous sommes quand même baigné. J'imagine que ce doit être exceptionnel l'été de retour d'une randonnée sur l'Etna autour d'un barbecue ! Nous avons apprécié la fonctionnalite de l'appartement, prendre le petit déjeuner au soleil sur la terrasse face à la mer, la quiétude des lieux et la vue sur l'Etna depuis la piscine. Thank you Gabriella and Alfio our 9 day vacation was made even more special with your kind hospitality and beautiful location of you accommodation. The highlight of our visit was Alfio’s Etna tour and Gabriella’s picnic which was worth every penny and we were so privileged to see Etna showing off her awesome power. You will need a car to get around, we had a medium sized vehicle but wish I we had downsized to a more normal small car the street are ‘narrow’! The local produce was a really nice touch and Gabriella’s communication made everything really easy and reassuring.
