Vacation rentals in Terelj

Organised transport to and from Ulaanbaatar and a driver/tour guide for the day for $100. The guide was lovely, and we had fun battling through the rain. Family were very accommodating, and the ger was comfortable and warm.

We had a wonderful stay! Horseback riding was awesome. Easy to learn. The Teralj park tour was awesome and lot of fun. Food was very good, and healthy! But our hosts definitely were the best part of the stay! Very sweet family, who go out of their way to make you feel at home!

The hosts were very friendly and nice people. The host couple provided us with a great Terelj guide and a delicious dinner at their home. Thank you Degi and Sarah.

Oyuna provided us with an incredible memorable stay with a Mongolia family in a very traditional, yet modern and comfortable stay. Our ger was warm, our bellies full of good food, and we were always chatting! We would love to come back and stay again, in different season, and different settings! She stands out amongst the rest due to her incredible and friendly personality.

Otgontsagaan (Oggie) and his family have lovely gers serving great traditional food. Although it is a traditional ger camp, it has excellent shower and toilet facilities. My partner is also Coeliac and they were able to provide food that she could eat. Oggie was incredibly helpful communicating this with the cooks, as well as helping us to arrange horse riding. He also took us up to Turtle Rock and Aryapala Temple and gave us some great history and background to Mongolia. If we had questions Oggie responded quickly and with great suggestions. We often had difficulties communicating with other places while travelling in Mongolia so this was a big relief. The Gers are on the side of a beautiful hill with wildflowers and edelweiss (in summer) which we hiked one morning. We awoke to the sounds of horses and cows grazing nearby. As we expected, there's no wifi (as at July 2024) but it was nice to switch off and if we absolutely needed it, places nearby had Wifi. It was perfect for us.

This place was really peaceful and beautiful, I was made a really nice breakfast and my host very kind!
